SSMC is committed to enhancing educational infrastructure throughout Florida and has held continuing Surveying and Mapping contracts with public school districts throughout our firm’s history. Since 2009, SSMC has been holding a continuing contract with Seminole County Public Schools. We provided comprehensive surveying and utility services tailored to Bear Lake Elementary School for this project. Our proposal addresses the vital aspects of Boundary Delineation, Topographic Mapping, and Subsurface Utility Designation, ensuring a thorough understanding of the school’s landscape and utilities infrastructure.
First our firm set to establish the boundaries of Bear Lake Elementary School in accordance with Chapter 5J-17 F.A.C. Our survey team meticulously locates all boundary corners, resetting any missing markers for precise demarcation. We review title work provided by the client, incorporating pertinent information into the final drawing. Additionally, we conduct a thorough survey of improvements and utilities, obtaining spot elevations to create detailed one-foot contours for comprehensive topographic representation.
Our expertise extends to the identification and mapping of subsurface utility mains within the school property. We leverage advanced techniques to locate and map subsurface utility mains within the school grounds. By horizontally locating and marking public utility lines, excluding specific service connections, we provide essential data to mitigate construction risks and ensure smooth operations.
