SSMC played a vital role in the expansion efforts of Coca-Cola’s Mid-Florida facility. SSMC was tasked with providing a comprehensive Boundary and Topographic Survey tailored to meet the project’s unique requirements.
SSMC meticulously established the location of all boundary corners, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This involved locating improvements and utilities, reviewing title commitments, and addressing any easements or servitudes within the subject boundaries.
SSMC conducted a detailed topographic survey in accordance with Florida statutes. This included locating improvements and utilities, obtaining spot elevations for one-foot contour interpolation, and establishing site benchmarks. Topographic coverage extended to the subject property and adjacent roadways, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the site’s terrain.
For this project, SSMC obtained and verified plans and made measurements, before or while construction was in progress, to establish elevation, site configurations, and the horizontal position of designed features and dimensions. Since precise attention to detail during construction layout is essential, SSMC assigns and maintains the same person throughout a project’s life. The SSMC team has been a part of construction projects for all the Central Florida theme parks for the last 30 years.
SSMC had a seven-week timeline and provided Coca-Cola with vital data essential for informed decision-making and seamless project execution.
