SERVICES PROVIDED
- Topographic Survey
- Boundary Survey
- Subsurface Utility Location
For this project, Orange County Public Schools requested a comprehensive Boundary & Topographic Survey with Underground Utility Designation for Lawton Chiles Elementary School. The project aimed to update existing survey data, provide sketches for easements, and mark primary buried utilities while performing ten Test Holes within the designated parcel.
Within the 20-day timeframe allotted by the client, SSMC meticulously executed the scope of services outlined by the client, adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy. The survey team conducted Boundary and Topographic Surveys, excluding wooded areas from the Topographic Survey, and focusing on delineating trees 6″ and greater in parking areas and around buildings. As part of the project, SSMC designated and marked buried primary main line utilities using ground penetrating radar (QL-B) and performed ten Test Holes (QL-A) within the parcel. This critical step ensured the precise identification of underground utilities, minimizing the risk of potential disruptions during future construction or maintenance activities.
By partnering with SSMC, Lawton Chiles Elementary School obtained updated and accurate survey data essential for optimizing campus operations and facilitating future development initiatives. The detailed surveying and mapping services provided by SSMC contributed to the enhancement of educational infrastructure, ensuring a safe, efficient, and conducive learning environment for students, staff, and the broader community.
