Tate Flowers, PSM, PLS

Tate Flowers serves as Vice President of the Southeast Expansion Region and Office Manager for SSMC’s Dothan office. With more than 20 years of experience in the surveying industry, including 17 years with SSMC, Tate oversees regional operations and supports the company’s continued growth throughout Alabama and North Carolina.

Throughout his career, Tate has managed and coordinated a wide range of public and private sector surveying projects, overseeing both field and office personnel to ensure efficient project execution and high-quality deliverables. He also plays a leading role in supporting SSMC’s contracts with major electrical power providers and utility-related projects across the Southeast.

Tate has extensive experience in surveying and mapping services, including topographic, boundary, right-of-way, as-built, construction layout, control, hydrographic, wetland delineation, quantity, land platting, and special purpose surveys. His background also includes managing large-scale projects utilizing LiDAR-derived topographic survey data and advanced survey technologies.

Known for his strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaborative approach, Tate is recognized for his commitment to operational excellence, client service, and successfully managing complex survey operations across multiple regions and markets.
