As a subcontractor, Southeastern Surveying and Mapping Corporation (SSMC) undertook the Amelia Island Plantation Substation project. This project encompassed comprehensive surveying and mapping services critical for the development and operational efficiency of the substation.

Amelia Island Plantation SS Rebuild
SSMC conducted detailed boundary, topographic, tree, and wetland surveys to map the existing conditions of the project site, identifying key natural and man-made features. The preparation of subdivision plats for approval by Nassau County included planning to abandon common property lines and ensuring compliance with local standards. Utilizing electronic equipment and ground penetrating radar, SSMC located and marked underground utilities, ensuring accurate planning and minimizing risks during construction.
The final deliverables included six certified copies and electronic files of the completed surveys and plats.
