Tampa Bay Water - Cypress Creek Facility

Tampa Bay

Engaging under our existing As-Needed Surveying Services contract with Tampa Bay Water (TBW), SSMC performed a boundary and topographic survey. A 25’ maximum interval elevation grid with contours at 0.5’ intervals was created. Trees 4” and greater were located along with the top of catch basins, control structures, weirs, and overflows elevations inverts of stormwater pipes and catch basins, locations of leach fields, septic tanks, power poles, and power lines (above ground), wetland delineation lines and their buffers, spot elevations, spot elevations of specific locations near tanks and other infrastructure and exterior dimensions of all buildings. Flying over the 62-acre site with one of our DJI Phantom 4 drones, one of SSMC’s licensed pilots was able to collect 4k HD imagery of the site. Undocumented pipes were field-marked, using ground-penetrating radar, and collected during the site survey.
