Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corp. (SSMC) proudly celebrated the grand opening of its new Leesburg office with a successful Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House attended by employee-owners, clients, industry partners, community leaders, and members of the Leesburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
Located at 8404 US Highway 441 in Leesburg, the new office marks an exciting milestone in SSMC’s continued growth and commitment to serving Lake County and Central Florida. The relocation reflects the company’s long-standing presence in the region, which began in Tavares in 2011 before moving to Mount Dora in 2023 and now expanding into its new Leesburg location.
“We are excited to continue growing alongside the communities we serve,” said Thom Mead, President and CEO of SSMC. “This new location positions us to better support our clients while creating additional opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and future growth throughout the region.”
The event featured remarks from SSMC leadership, networking opportunities with local businesses and clients, office tours, and a ceremonial ribbon cutting hosted in partnership with the Leesburg Area Chamber of Commerce. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about SSMC’s comprehensive geospatial services, including Surveying, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), GIS, Mobile LiDAR, and Drone/UAS technologies.
